Who are we?

The Story

Blue Sky Training started with a cold house and a non-functioning furnace. I had a simple goal: get the furnace to work. Despite my efforts to fix the furnace, it would not keep my home heated. After having a free energy assessment completed on the home, I began to see how each part of my home connected with another. With just the simple act of spray foaming my rim joists, the furnace was able to keep my home heated. From there I followed the list of recommended improvements and was able to bring my energy bill down from $700 a month to $150. After seeing and feeling a tangible difference one building assessment could make, I jumped into the industry with direction and was gifted with passionate trainers.

After years in the industry and success in starting my own assessment company, I began to notice the severe lack of quality training on certifications and more importantly, training that takes you hands-on into the field. With my assessment company, I designed and tested a road map to guide students through the beginning incline of learning, the false-peak of certification, and into the continual trail of lifelong learning. With Blue Sky Training we hope to be student-focused guides and help you climb the peak of your profession.
